How did you first get involved in gymnastics?

I went to a 'bring a friend’ session when I was 7 and loved it! It turned out I was quite good at it, too!

Why do you love coaching?

I really enjoy seeing my gymnasts learning and achieving. Seeing them keep trying and watching their confidence grow is incredible. I believe gymnastics teaches invaluable life lessons.

What’s your proudest moment as a coach?

I have many proud moments – too many to list. The gymnasts I have coached make me proud on a daily basis by persevering, asking for help, attempting and achieving new skills, making teams and squads, and competing in front of many people.

Why do you think children should join gymnastics?

Gymnastics is a fantastic base for all sports; it helps with strength, flexibility, coordination and fitness. It also teaches many life skills including perseverance, patience, teamwork, social skills, listening skills and respect for each other and coaches. Bouncing and swinging is also great fun!
